Article 1 (Purpose)

 

The purpose of these terms and conditions is to stipulate the basic matters related to the conditions and procedures for using the various services provided by the Clear Remote Lifelong Education Center (hereinafter referred to as "Remote Lifelong Education Center").

 

Article 2 (Definitions)

 

  1. Service: Refers to the various services provided by the Remote Lifelong Education Center that can be accessed by members, regardless of the terminal device (PC, TV, portable devices, etc.).
  2. Member: Refers to the customer who accesses the services of the Remote Lifelong Education Center, agrees to these terms, and enters into an usage contract with the Remote Lifelong Education Center.
  3. ID (Username): Refers to the combination of letters and numbers chosen by the member and approved by the Remote Lifelong Education Center for identification and service usage.
  4. Password: Refers to the combination of letters or numbers chosen by the member to confirm their identity matching the ID and for password protection.
  5. Content: Refers to online courses and other related information provided by the Remote Lifelong Education Center on its website.
  6. Administrator: Refers to the person selected by the Remote Lifelong Education Center for the overall management and smooth operation of the service.
  7. Termination: Refers to the expression of intent by the Remote Lifelong Education Center or the member to terminate the usage contract after the service is opened.

Article 3 (Publication and Amendment of Terms and Conditions)

 

  1. The Remote Lifelong Education Center shall post the content of these terms and conditions on the initial screen of the service for easy access by members.
  2. The Remote Lifelong Education Center may amend these terms and conditions within the scope not violating related laws such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Information and Communication Network Act.
  3. In case of amending the terms and conditions, the Remote Lifelong Education Center shall give notice 30 days prior to the effective date, along with the date and reasons for the amendment. However, for changes not significantly affecting the rights and obligations of members, a notice period of 7 days before the effective date shall be provided.
  4. If a member uses the service after the effective date following the enactment described in the third paragraph, it is considered that the member has agreed to the amended terms and conditions. Members who do not agree to the changed terms and conditions may terminate the usage contract.
  5. If a member using paid services terminates the usage contract due to disagreement with the amendment of these terms and conditions, the refund policy specified in the terms and conditions for paid services shall apply.

Article 4 (Interpretation of Terms and Conditions)

 

  1. The Remote Lifelong Education Center may establish separate terms and policies (hereinafter referred to as "Terms for Paid Services, etc.") for paid services and individual services. In the event of any conflict with these terms and conditions, the Terms for Paid Services, etc. shall take precedence.
  2. Matters not specified or interpreted in these terms and conditions shall be governed by the Terms for Paid Services, etc., relevant laws, or customary practices.

  4. Article 5 (Conclusion of Usage Agreement)

 

  1. The usage agreement is concluded when the individual (hereinafter referred to as the "applicant for membership") who wishes to become a member agrees to the contents of the terms and conditions, applies for membership, and the Remote Lifelong Education Center approves such application.
  2. The Remote Lifelong Education Center generally approves the service usage for the applicant for membership. However, the Remote Lifelong Education Center may refuse approval or terminate the usage agreement afterward in the following cases:
    1. The applicant for membership has lost membership qualifications under these terms and conditions, except for cases where one year has passed since the loss of membership qualifications and approval for rejoining as a member is obtained from the Remote Lifelong Education Center.
    2. False identity or use of another person's name.
    3. Providing false information or not filling in the information presented by the Remote Lifelong Education Center.
    4. A child under 14 years old applies without the consent of a legal guardian (parent, etc.).
    5. The applicant violates general regulations or other stipulated matters due to the user's fault, making approval impossible.
  3. In the case of the application according to paragraph 1, the Remote Lifelong Education Center may request identity verification and authentication through a specialized institution depending on the type of member.
  4. The Remote Lifelong Education Center may defer approval if there is no available facility related to the service, or if there are technical or operational issues.
  5. If approval is not granted or deferred for the membership application according to paragraphs 2 and 4, the Remote Lifelong Education Center shall generally inform the applicant for membership.
  6. The time of the establishment of the usage agreement is considered the moment when the Remote Lifelong Education Center completes the application process.
  7. The Remote Lifelong Education Center may differentiate usage by member grades, specifying different usage times, frequencies, and service menus according to its policies.
  8. The Remote Lifelong Education Center may restrict usage or impose grade-based restrictions to comply with laws such as the "Act on the Promotion of Motion Pictures and Video Distribution" and the "Youth Protection Act."

Article 6 (Change of Member Information)

 

  1. Members can view and modify their personal information at any time through the personal information management screen. However, certain information such as real name, resident registration number, and ID cannot be modified for service management purposes.
  2. If the information provided during the membership application changes, members must notify the Remote Lifelong Education Center of these changes online or through other methods, such as email.
  3. The Remote Lifelong Education Center is not responsible for disadvantages arising from failure to notify changes according to paragraph 2.
